Form Energy is an American manufacturing and energy technology company revolutionizing energy storage with cost-effective, multi-day technology designed to keep the electric grid secure and reliable. We are scaling up battery manufacturing at our high-volume facility in West Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day escalations, mentoring and supporting a tactical team of technicians to stabilize line cadence and troubleshoot downtime
  • Own line metrics including OEE, yield, and cycle times to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven improvements
  • Evaluate and vet technical solutions for equipment and process issues to ensure they are robust, safe, and effective
  • Partner with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve production constraints impacting quality and throughput
  • Initiate tactical continuous improvement projects to eliminate waste, improve ergonomics, and optimize machine reliability
  • Act as the voice of the shop floor by providing actionable design feedback to the system engineering team regarding human factors and usability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 3-7 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, or fast-paced industrial operations
  • Demonstrated capability to manage, prioritize tasks for, and develop a technical team
  • Strong familiarity with manufacturing metrics such as OEE and downtime tracking
  • Practical approach to root-cause analysis
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and automated equipment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional peers
