Senior Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on process engineering support for established operations by analyzing performance data and driving continuous improvement.
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of new processes, including scale-ups and technology introductions.
• Manage standards related to Environment, Safety, Health, and Sustainability (ESHS) while ensuring product quality and equipment availability.
• Apply deep engineering knowledge in mixing, material science, heat and mass transfer, filtration, and drying to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Analyze site capacity constraints and lead projects to reduce bottlenecks and increase throughput.
• Recommend and lead capital investment projects related to equipment reliability and new technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Act as a technical authority by reviewing engineering documentation and mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, a related engineering discipline, or Chemistry.
• Strong technical problem-solving ability and the ability to apply fundamental engineering and business principles.
• Strong computer skills across a variety of software packages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence groups without direct supervisory responsibility.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in chemical or pharmaceutical engineering manufacturing.
• Experience working across multiple production facilities and various technology platforms.
