Senior Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering activities including process optimization, equipment characterization, and troubleshooting.
• Direct capital project execution within manufacturing, pilot plant, or facilities environments.
• Develop engineering policies and procedures that impact multiple organizational units.
• Supervise and review the work of engineers, associates, and technicians on a project basis.
• Collaborate with Research, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Validation teams to define requirements for system modifications.
• Partner with Project Managers to deliver design projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate with external consultants, architects, and engineering firms to develop standard design documentation.
• Develop departmental or project budgets involving multiple engineering disciplines.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Engineering OR Master’s in Engineering with 2 years of experience OR Bachelor’s in Engineering with 4 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech processes and GLP/GMP requirements.
• Solid understanding of validation processes, including protocol development and execution.
• Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical thinking and technical report writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in packaging operations or equipment.
• Knowledge of equipment characterization and validation.
• Experience with vision systems and inspection system analysis.
