Senior Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and optimize semiconductor unit processes including ALD, PEALD, Epitaxy, and PECVD.
• Design and conduct complex experiments using Design of Experiments (DOE) and Response Surface Methodology (RSM).
• Troubleshoot equipment problems through hands-on engagement and scientific problem-solving methods.
• Perform materials characterization and interpret complex experimental output to drive process improvements.
• Develop methods for integrating metal and oxide films into existing and future device technologies.
• Contribute to intellectual property generation and produce technical papers for professional audiences.
• Collaborate with customers and marketing to define requirements and execute successful product demonstrations.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
• Graduation in Fall 2025 or within the past two years (graduating Fall 2026 is also considered).
• 0–2 years of professional work experience.
• Experience with thin film deposition techniques such as ALD, CVD, Epitaxy, or PECVD.
• Proficiency in materials characterization techniques (e.g., XPS, SIMS, AFM, SEM, XRD, or ellipsometry).
• Knowledge of electrical characterization techniques for CMOS devices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Training in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
• Ability to manage complex process development projects, including schedules and hardware procurement.
• Understanding of metal integration requirements for FEOL and BEOL process flows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting advanced technical constructs.
