Senior Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering analysis to determine cycle time, equipment fit, and scale-up strategies
• Manage technology transfers ensuring all risks are identified and mitigated through robust systems
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate technical feasibility of new processes and products
• Identify, scale, and qualify Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs)
• Design and procure new pharmaceutical processes and equipment
• Develop process flow diagrams, mass balances, and conceptual design packages
• Participate in and lead P&ID, HAZOP, and other critical design reviews
• Troubleshoot process equipment and instrumentation during commissioning and startup activities
• Review process metrics to identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent
• 8+ years of relevant experience working within a GMP-regulated environment
• Proven expertise in process engineering analysis and technology transfer
• Experience participating in P&ID and HAZOP design reviews
• Strong project management skills with the ability to adhere to budgets and schedules
