Senior Process Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the packaging process development and optimization for Opto-Electrical components
• Define new process specifications and documentation based on product design requirements
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to develop tooling and fixtures for new projects
• Develop new processes for prototype engineer sample building
• Partner with mechanical engineering teams to implement automation equipment for volume production
• Lead process design validation and continuous improvement during Alpha to Beta phases
• Drive process manufacturability and efficiency improvements and research new platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Optics, Mechanical, Automation, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in process development or optical coupling
• Proficiency in optics product processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good English verbal and written communication capabilities
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lens and Fiber array alignment
• Basic knowledge of optical theory and coupling principles
• Familiarity with optical components manufacturing processes and NPI
• Knowledge of optical, mechanical, and electronic material properties
• Experience with equipment maintenance and technical innovation
