Senior Process Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, project, and troubleshooting support for process control systems across Hydrogen and Carbon Monoxide (HYCO) operations.
• Support monitoring and control systems for SMR, ATR, and ASU facilities nationwide.
• Plan, support, and implement control system upgrades to prevent obsolescence and improve reliability.
• Develop and implement advanced process control improvements to resolve complex operational issues.
• Serve as a technical lead, providing guidance to engineering, maintenance, and operations personnel.
• Ensure all control system changes follow Management of Change (MOC) protocols.
• Support cybersecurity practices and implementation for industrial control systems.
• Apply expertise in SRS, SIL, and ISA84 standards.
• Travel up to 25% to support various U.S. locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or 10+ years of experience in Control Systems or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of Process Automation, including the design and implementation of complex control strategies.
• Advanced understanding of continuous chemical processes.
• Proficiency with schematic wiring diagrams and P&ID content.
• Experience managing Control System Upgrades.
• Working knowledge of primary instrumentation.
