Senior Private Banker

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and grow profitable banking relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
• Provide expert service and personalized financial solutions to meet complex balance sheet management needs.
• Execute business plans to grow banking revenue while adhering to the Bank’s risk tolerance and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively develop internal and external referral networks to generate new prospects.
• Lead deal teams to develop and execute growth and retention strategies for assigned portfolios.
• Collaborate with clients' professional advisors to develop appropriate credit and tax-favorable structures.
• Act as a subject matter expert and ambassador to enhance the bank's reputation in the marketplace.
• Manage risk and minimize losses through diligent monitoring, control reports, and adherence to the Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in private banking or wealth management.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven track record in business development and relationship management.
• Strong credit knowledge and skills, including experience with personal and commercial credit products.
• Ability to meet all necessary licensing and certification requirements for the specific jurisdiction.
• Expert analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and influence skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex, ambiguous situations.
