Senior Privacy Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead HIPAA compliance monitoring reviews and manage the HIPAA compliance program, policies, and standards across Medical Devices.
• Drive standardization and operational excellence for core privacy program operations.
• Increase privacy maturity by providing education, training, and mentoring to technical and compliance teams.
• Advise commercial teams on obligations regarding U.S. and global data protection laws, including HIPAA and GDPR.
• Conduct technical and quantitative analysis to drive scalable, data-driven privacy decision-making.
• Perform privacy risk assessments and maintain program documentation, including records of processing and incident management.
• Gather and analyze program metrics to track effectiveness and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Privacy Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of progressive privacy program management, compliance, or program management experience.
• 4+ years of experience with privacy in an engineering or technical implementation context.
• Professional privacy certification (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, or CDPSE).
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, and CPRA.
• Familiarity with NIST Privacy and Cybersecurity Frameworks.
• Experience with privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) and privacy-preserving methods.
