About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale technical programs spanning infrastructure and software to support U.S. Federal Government modernization efforts
- Contribute to large-scale architectural designs and understand high and low-level architectures of complex systems
- Manage remote project delivery teams and facilitate technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot implementation issues
- Drive cross-functional programs from planning and execution through risk mitigation and success measurement
- Partner with product managers and engineering leaders to design secure, durable, and scalable services
- Develop, communicate, and maintain portfolio, program, and project roadmaps
- Participate in strategic, operational, and tactical level planning and forecasting efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
- 10+ years of experience in engineering, technical program management, or a similar technical leadership role
- 10+ years of experience with the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (TS/SCI w/CI Poly preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience managing the lifecycle of complex, high-impact cross-functional programs
- Proven ability to drive technical strategy and lead teams across multiple organizations
- Solid foundation in service-oriented and web-service technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with technical teams and executive management
