About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technology and engineering focal point for leadership and customers on various programs
- Lead product development cycles and integrate multi-functional teams for Open System Architecture solutions
- Provide Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis and manage program schedules and budgets
- Lead the development, planning, and execution of SETR events such as PDR, CDR, and TRR
- Define and manage technical risks and opportunities, developing effective mitigation plans
- Oversee full lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Factory Transition
- Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals
Requirements
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required
- STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (or 7 years with an Advanced Degree)
- Proven experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and government reporting requirements
- Experience in Project Management or as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
- Familiarity with Agile processes and methodologies
- Understanding of engineering support for Systems, Software, Hardware, and Firmware development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (e.g., SysML, Cameo, Rhapsody)
- Proficiency in modeling/simulation tools such as Matlab
- Experience leading teams using Microsoft Project, Confluence, or JIRA
- Agile leadership experience (Scrum Master or Product Owner)
- Experience with proposal support and writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
- Existing Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
