Senior Principal Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, architecture, and design at all levels of the total system product, including concept, fabrication, modeling, and testing
• Conduct functional analyses, trade studies, and requirements allocation to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications
• Decompose customer specifications into sub-system and piece part requirements while developing verification criteria
• Execute technical planning, system integration, and validation/verification for total system solutions
• Perform daily engineering tasks within a classified and controlled lab environment

Requirements

• STEM degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience
• Active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance (required on day 1)
• U.S. citizenship
• Experience with Cryptographic Hardware architecture, design, and network encryption specifications
• Proficiency with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as DOORS or CAMEO
• Proficiency in programming languages including Rust or Python
• Experience with Hardware and Software Integration, Validation & Verification, and Qualification Testing
• Familiarity with the Scaled Agile framework

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience presenting technical data to program management and executive leadership
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
