About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, architecture, and design at all levels of the total system product, including concept, fabrication, modeling, and testing
- Conduct functional analyses, trade studies, and requirements allocation to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications
- Decompose customer specifications into sub-system and piece part requirements while developing verification criteria
- Execute technical planning, system integration, and validation/verification for total system solutions
- Perform daily engineering tasks within a classified and controlled lab environment
Requirements
- STEM degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance (required on day 1)
- U.S. citizenship
- Experience with Cryptographic Hardware architecture, design, and network encryption specifications
- Proficiency with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as DOORS or CAMEO
- Proficiency in programming languages including Rust or Python
- Experience with Hardware and Software Integration, Validation & Verification, and Qualification Testing
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile framework
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience presenting technical data to program management and executive leadership
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
