About the role

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead the advancement of DevSecOps roadmaps and initiatives
  • Spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge DevSecOps tools and technologies
  • Design and implement complex automation pipelines for embedded systems in air-gapped environments
  • Automate security testing and vulnerability scanning using SAST/DAST tools
  • Develop complex containerized environments and applications
  • Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistent and scalable infrastructure
  • Build dashboards for observability and performance reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams to deliver innovative solutions

Requirements

  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (Secret)
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Extensive expertise in DevSecOps principles, technologies, and best practices
  • Proficiency in Bash and Python
  • Seasoned experience with GitLab and GitLab Runners
  • Expertise with containerization tools such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes
  • Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet) and IaC (Terraform)
  • Strong experience in Linux environments and IP networking protocols
  • STEM degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 7+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with embedded product development
  • Strong Linux administration skills
  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Rust
