Senior Principal - Snowflake Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead agile program pods to deliver cutting-edge data solutions leveraging the Snowflake ecosystem and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Act as a Solution Architect to design complex delivery patterns, implement solutions, and build components of client data platforms.
• Lead delivery pods through Agile ceremonies, breaking down complex development tasks and ensuring timely backlog completion.
• Serve as a Snowflake Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support business development and guide clients on best practices in architecture and scalable analytics.
• Mentor engineering teams and contribute to the internal growth of the Snowflake Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Collaborate with data leaders to drive sales, recruiting, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Must hold an active Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification.
• Significant experience as a lead data architect on at least two Snowflake implementations.
• Expertise in data architecture concepts including dimensional modelling, data vault, and data mesh.
• Proven experience designing and implementing Cloud Data strategies and multi-phased implementation roadmaps.
• Experience designing data engineering solutions using open source and proprietary cloud data pipeline tools.
• Experience designing Snowflake-native architectures to support AI and generative AI use cases, including Cortex AI.
• Expertise in capturing end-user requirements and aligning technical solutions to business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• SnowPro Advanced certification.
• Knowledge of data science and visualization.
• Experience leading large-scale data platform development teams.
