About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct all program phases from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget
- Lead cross-functional teams through the development, integration, and testing of software and hardware solutions
- Coordinate with software, systems, and hardware architects and chief engineers to execute program scope
- Manage project performance using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) techniques
- Support Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events, including PDR, CDR, and TRR
- Lead change management initiatives and proposal coordination efforts for upcoming bids
- Interface with customers, suppliers, and executive leadership to provide timely technical communication
- Drive project schedules and monitor technical requirements for prototype and customer deliveries
Requirements
- STEM degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (or Advanced Degree with 7+ years)
- Active and transferable U.S. Government DoD Secret Security Clearance required on day 1
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time depending on program phase
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior-level leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- U.S. Government Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret clearance
- Progressive leadership in the design, development, and integration of airborne platform systems
- Experience using Agile methodologies for product development
- Experience with Bid and Proposal efforts and Cost Account Management
- Proficiency in MS Project, EVMS, and data analytics tools like Tableau or PowerBI
- Understanding of Aerospace engineering design, analysis review, and configuration management processes
