About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct all program phases from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget
- Lead cross-functional teams through the development, integration, and testing of software and hardware solutions
- Manage project performance by tracking budget and schedule using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) techniques
- Coordinate with engineering leads, architects, and chief engineers to ensure successful program execution
- Prepare and maintain project plans, budgets, demand forecasts, and technical artifacts for SETR events
- Lead change management initiatives and proposal coordination efforts for upcoming bids
- Interface with management, customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to provide effective communication
- Support technology development programs by guiding products through the Technology Readiness Level process
Requirements
- STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (or Advanced Degree with 7+ years)
- Active and transferable U.S. Government DoD Secret Security Clearance required on day one
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Strong project management skills, including experience with MS Project and EVMS
- Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leadership
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time depending on the program phase
Preferred Qualifications
- U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance
- Progressive leadership in the design, development, and integration of airborne platform systems
- Experience using Agile methodologies for product development
- Experience with Bid and Proposal efforts and Cost Account Management
- Proficiency with data analytics tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Alteryx
- Understanding of Aerospace engineering design, analysis review, and configuration management processes
