Senior Principal Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the product development lifecycle from initial concept and strategy through launch for data science and information synthesis capabilities.
• Define product vision, strategy, and success metrics in alignment with organizational goals and emerging industry trends.
• Own the product roadmap and backlog, managing priorities, feature development, and agile ceremonies.
• Translate user needs and business requirements into actionable product specifications focused on long-term scalability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver value-driven solutions.
• Monitor and manage product KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and inform strategic course corrections.
• Foster user-centered development by incorporating scientific insight and technical constraints into iterative prototyping cycles.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in end-to-end product management, including strategic roadmap ownership.
• 6+ years of experience in healthcare (ideally biotechnology), SaaS products, or delivering products for scientific/quantitative users.
• Strong expertise in agile methodologies, backlog management, and sprint execution.
• Proven ability to influence senior-level stakeholders and align product strategies with enterprise goals.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear language.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
• Statistical experience within AI/ML or data science applications in biomedical settings.
• Proven ability to manage complexity and risk in early-phase or technically uncertain projects.
