Senior Principal Product Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Own product area roadmaps and requirements, prioritizing for maximum impact
• Lead the development of audio devices and computer peripherals from definition through release and sustainment
• Coordinate cross-functional execution and manage change control processes
• Plan verification, validation, and readiness checkpoints to ensure product quality
• Drive continuous improvement through the use of metrics and retrospectives
• Manage external partners within an outsource development model

Requirements

• 10+ years of related mechanical development experience, specifically with audio devices (e.g., headsets, earbuds, speakerphones)
• Proven track record of end-to-end lifecycle ownership and a strong portfolio of shipped products
• Experience managing outsource development models and external partners
• Expertise in risk analysis, test planning, and change control
• Proficiency with planning tools and data-driven decision-making
• Strong collaborative mindset and clear communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, CMII, or Six Sigma/DFx
• Experience with PLM/ALM tools
• Direct mechanical design experience for Gaming/UC audio devices or computer peripherals
