About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the advancement of manufacturing technologies for electromechanical and capital equipment assembly.
- Define and execute long-term manufacturing strategies and technology roadmaps across the enterprise.
- Lead cross-functional Centers of Excellence (COEs) to establish best-in-class equipment standards.
- Partner with global R&D, operating units, and manufacturing sites to ensure process and design compatibility.
- Identify and evaluate emerging manufacturing technologies through collaboration with vendors, academia, and industry partners.
- Drive innovation through rapid feasibility testing and deployment into manufacturing and new product introductions.
- Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and measurement systems.
- Ensure all processes and procedures comply with industry regulations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Ability to travel up to 25% to support collaboration and project completion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing assembly techniques, including ultrasonic welding, laser welding, and automation/controls engineering.
- Knowledge of box builds, functional testing, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.
- Experience across manual, semi-automated, and fully automated manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to define 5–10 year technology roadmaps.
- Experience collaborating with international teams and leading through influence.
- Previous Medtronic experience.
