About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the advancement of manufacturing technologies for electromechanical and capital equipment assembly.
  • Define and execute long-term manufacturing strategies and technology roadmaps across the enterprise.
  • Lead cross-functional Centers of Excellence (COEs) to establish best-in-class equipment standards.
  • Partner with global R&D, operating units, and manufacturing sites to ensure process and design compatibility.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging manufacturing technologies through collaboration with vendors, academia, and industry partners.
  • Drive innovation through rapid feasibility testing and deployment into manufacturing and new product introductions.
  • Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and measurement systems.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures comply with industry regulations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to support collaboration and project completion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing assembly techniques, including ultrasonic welding, laser welding, and automation/controls engineering.
  • Knowledge of box builds, functional testing, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.
  • Experience across manual, semi-automated, and fully automated manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to define 5–10 year technology roadmaps.
  • Experience collaborating with international teams and leading through influence.
  • Previous Medtronic experience.
