Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a section of technical personnel and facilitate their career development
• Perform mechanical design, test, integration, and documentation for RF systems and sub-systems
• Develop and implement technical solutions to complex engineering problems
• Work closely with program and functional leadership to ensure technical goals are met
• Manage work products to meet cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements

Requirements

• STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 7 years of experience
• Proven experience with the mechanical design and integration of RF systems or subsystems
• Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required on day one
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Expert or mastery level knowledge in mechanical engineering within the RF domain
• Deep knowledge of project management and related engineering disciplines
• Ability to identify technical links and potential impacts on larger projects, programs, or systems
