About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital commerce, mobile apps, client data, and omnichannel capabilities.
- Modernize legacy systems into cloud-native, microservices-based, and headless ecosystems.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to shape initiatives that transform digital and retail capabilities.
- Embed AI and ML capabilities into the technology ecosystem to drive automation and predictive insights.
- Influence and guide solution architects and engineering teams to ensure design consistency and scalability.
- Translate corporate strategy into actionable technology direction to ensure measurable business value.
Requirements
- 20+ years of experience architecting and delivering technology solutions within retail and digital domains.
- Proven leadership in cloud migrations, data integrations, and DevOps.
- Expertise in composable commerce (e.g., Salesforce, Commerce Cloud, or similar) and headless platforms.
- Proficiency with AWS or GCP, microservices, Spring Boot, serverless, containers (Docker/EKS), and GraphQL.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data and integration patterns.
- Experience with retail systems, POS integration, and omnichannel fulfillment flows.
- Hands-on experience implementing Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and modern Search platforms.
- Experience with AI/ML integration, including Agentic AI-based platforms for client interaction.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to align global architecture with business strategy.
