About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the multi-year Autonomous Factory Roadmap and Strategy, aligning with long-term operational goals.
- Identify industry trends and emerging technologies to accelerate autonomy and productivity.
- Oversee major technical programs and pilot projects, ensuring scalable and secure architecture.
- Translate strategic objectives into structured programs with clear KPIs and measurable ROI.
- Champion a culture of innovation through cross-functional ideation workshops and prototyping of emerging technologies like intelligent robotics and AI/ML.
- Partner with global operations, engineering, IT/OT, and data teams to ensure successful roadmap execution.
- Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership, communicating technical vision and risks in business terms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Business, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing transformation, Industry 4.0, or digital manufacturing.
- Proven track record of leading strategy development and multi-year roadmaps at scale.
- Strong applied knowledge of automation systems, robotics, AI/ML, and IoT platforms.
- Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and influence skills.
- Experience working within large, global matrix organizations.
- Ability to conduct technology assessments and build robust business cases for investment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with digital twin simulation and factory systems (e.g., MCS, PLC, Scheduler).
- Experience with IT/OT integration and cloud-edge computing in production environments.
- Proven ability to drive consensus and inspire confidence across diverse functional domains.
