About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the multi-year Autonomous Factory Roadmap and Strategy, aligning with long-term operational goals.
  • Identify industry trends and emerging technologies to accelerate autonomy and productivity.
  • Oversee major technical programs and pilot projects, ensuring scalable and secure architecture.
  • Translate strategic objectives into structured programs with clear KPIs and measurable ROI.
  • Champion a culture of innovation through cross-functional ideation workshops and prototyping of emerging technologies like intelligent robotics and AI/ML.
  • Partner with global operations, engineering, IT/OT, and data teams to ensure successful roadmap execution.
  • Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership, communicating technical vision and risks in business terms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Business, or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing transformation, Industry 4.0, or digital manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of leading strategy development and multi-year roadmaps at scale.
  • Strong applied knowledge of automation systems, robotics, AI/ML, and IoT platforms.
  • Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and influence skills.
  • Experience working within large, global matrix organizations.
  • Ability to conduct technology assessments and build robust business cases for investment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with digital twin simulation and factory systems (e.g., MCS, PLC, Scheduler).
  • Experience with IT/OT integration and cloud-edge computing in production environments.
  • Proven ability to drive consensus and inspire confidence across diverse functional domains.
