Senior Principal Engineer, Architecture ASIC/System

Responsibilities

• Lead the chip architecture of innovative and complex processor-based SoCs for datacenter, cloud, and AI applications.
• Specify product requirements and drive them to closure through engagement with customers, engineering, and marketing.
• Architect new blocks and capabilities while overseeing IP evaluation, microarchitecture, pinouts, and cost/power estimates.
• Coordinate with internal business units to share IP capabilities and technical knowledge.
• Mentor other architects and engineers and present technical trainings to peers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 14+ years of professional experience.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of experience.
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of experience.
• 8+ years of experience specifically in system architecture development.
• Demonstrated expertise in SoC architecture, including interconnects, I/O technologies, virtualization, and memory hierarchies.
• Proven technical leadership in delivering complex silicon solutions.
