Senior Principal Engineer, AI/ML Platform

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy for the development and deployment of next-generation Agentic AI machine learning platforms (AMP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, data science, and cloud infrastructure, to execute the AI/ML platform roadmap.
• Design and architect scalable, reliable, and efficient AI/ML systems while driving critical technology decisions.
• Drive platform execution using agile methodologies, ensuring high standards for code quality, security, and software development best practices.
• Mentor team members, participate in code reviews, and foster a high-performance engineering culture.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years as a technical lead or Software Architect.
• Proven experience building and running scalable, high-performance production applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building and deploying AI models using tools like AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, or Azure Machine Learning.
• Deep understanding of MLOps principles, CI/CD, and automation for machine learning lifecycle management.
• Strong expertise in deep learning, statistical modeling, and neural networks.
• Experience working with complex agentic AI architectures, API ecosystems, and context management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience building highly scalable and performant AI/ML platforms.
• Seasoned expertise in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Ability to align technical objectives with business goals and execute long-term roadmaps through incremental delivery.
