Senior Principal Disaster Recovery Architecture & Engineering

Responsibilities

• Drive Tier 0 resiliency roadmaps across compute, storage, network, cloud, security, and automation frameworks
• Represent Disaster Recovery (DR) at Solution Design Engineering Reviews to embed recovery standards into new and existing systems
• Author recovery architectures for cyber-resilience, including offline and ransomware-protection strategies
• Lead enterprise-wide tabletop and hands-on recovery tests, analyzing results to close technical gaps
• Develop RFPs and evaluate innovative technologies to improve recovery speed, scale, and automation

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure operations experience
• 5+ years leading enterprise DR architecture and engineering initiatives
• Expert knowledge of DR tools, VMware HA/SRM, and multi-cloud design (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Proven ability to lead recovery testing and provide command-and-control leadership during unplanned events
• Working familiarity with zero-trust security concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
