Senior Principal Antenna Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Radio Frequency (RF) passive circuits, including radiators, RF manifolds, and RF transitions.
• Perform electromagnetic (EM) modeling to support airborne antenna systems.
• Advance the state of the art in radiator design and EM modeling through continuous innovation.
• Implement best practice standards in the planning, coordination, and execution of antenna design and verification solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in RF passive circuit design and EM modeling.
• Deep understanding of antenna engineering principles, including phased array theory.
• Proficiency with test equipment such as Antenna Ranges, Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Power Meters.
• Experience with structured design processes and root-cause problem solving.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Science (MS) or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong experience managing and presenting technical data to stakeholders and customers.
• Proficiency with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, Matlab, and various CAD tools.
