About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trustful relationships with key automotive customers to understand new product developments.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and ensure product design-ins.
  • Identify and manage new business opportunities, startups, and regional customer accounts.
  • Leverage ADI’s solution value by positioning products to generate upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process, including regular reporting and meeting sales KPIs.
  • Drive engagements between ADI and customer executives.
  • Collaborate closely with global account teams, technical support, marketing, and product management.
  • Visit customers regularly and attend industry trade shows and conferences.

Requirements

  • Degree (BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc) in electronic engineering or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in key account or global account management within the semiconductor industry.
  • Proven experience in technical sales to major accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of the semiconductor industry, specifically analog and digital applications.
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English.
  • Experience working effectively within dynamic, matrix-structured global organizations.
  • Valid driving license and passport.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in analog and mixed-signal semiconductors.
  • Advanced training in value-based selling, ROI, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using innovative customer management, reporting, and forecasting systems.
