Senior Pricing Actuary, Financial Lines & Cyber

Responsibilities

• Review and approve new rating models and major recalibration exercises to ensure accuracy and alignment with best practice
• Maintain global raters and support regional underwriting teams with pricing queries
• Conduct peer reviews of regional portfolio assessments to ensure consistency and robust benchmarking
• Work with underwriting management to develop and implement strategies to improve portfolio profitability
• Oversee reinsurance submissions for internal and external arrangements
• Produce regular management reports covering rate change monitoring, price adequacy, and exposure trends
• Provide direct line management to two actuarial analysts

Requirements

• Qualified Actuary
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on pricing or reserving experience specifically in Financial Lines
• Proven track record of building and implementing pricing models or portfolio monitoring tools
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and presentation capabilities
• Experience with GLM/GBM modelling
• Knowledge of SQL or Python for working with large datasets
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to interact with senior management and underwriters

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a global or multi-regional environment
