Senior Presales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and positioning of enterprise infrastructure and end-user computing solutions
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLD), technical proposals, Bill of Materials (BoM), and RFP/RFI/RFQ responses
• Conduct customer workshops, technical presentations, and demonstrations
• Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical evaluation activities
• Design solutions for servers, enterprise storage, virtualization, HCI, and backup/disaster recovery
• Support hybrid cloud, private cloud, and container platform discussions including Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Design end-user computing solutions including VDI, endpoint management, and collaboration tools
• Coordinate with vendors for design validation and technical alignment
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and lead internal knowledge-sharing sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure presales or solution architecture
• Expertise in enterprise infrastructure, data center technologies, virtualization, and HCI platforms
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and end-user computing/VDI environments
• Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, and automation/orchestration concepts
• Hands-on or presales experience with vendors such as Dell Technologies, Nutanix, VMware, Red Hat, Veeam, or Citrix
• Proven ability to prepare technical proposals and compliance matrices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise and government customer engagements
• VMware (VCP) certification
• Nutanix (NCP) certification
• Dell Technologies, Veeam, Cohesity, Red Hat, Oracle, or Huawei certifications
