About the role
Responsibilities
- Proactively build and manage an assigned portfolio of mass affluent clients to uncover financial needs and provide meaningful solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact, using a consultative sales process to develop strong customer relationships.
- Identify additional sales opportunities and make key recommendations on products, pricing, and services.
- Achieve sales targets by acquiring new assets from existing portfolios and new client acquisition.
- Collaborate with branch business partners to identify target profiles and create effective calling plans.
- Review credit applications to ensure sound credit granting principles and recommend remedies to maintain asset quality.
- Participate in the community to identify prospects and build referral relationships with centers of influence, such as law and accounting firms.
- Mentor and coach branch personnel to enhance their knowledge and skills regarding mass affluent clients.
- Educate clients on digital banking options and self-serve technologies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, security, and safeguarding procedures to prevent fraud and maintain operational integrity.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in financial services.
- Required licenses: SIE Exam, Series 6, 63, 65, and State Life and Health insurance licenses (must be obtained within 120 days of start date if not currently held).
- Proven knowledge of banking products, associated services, and profitability management.
- Strong understanding of brokerage and insurance products.
- In-depth knowledge of business services, including retirement plans, business banking solutions, and succession planning.
- Excellent understanding of personal trust and investment management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex tasks and exercise sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study.
- Possession of Series 7, 66, or 65 licenses.
