Senior Preconstruction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead site feasibility assessments including zoning, access logistics, and infrastructure readiness
• Manage due diligence activities and coordinate internal teams and external consultants
• Develop permitting and entitlement strategies with local jurisdictions
• Coordinate with design consultants to ensure site plans meet operational and safety requirements
• Build and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost estimating
• Define EV charging infrastructure requirements including power demand and layout optimization
• Coordinate with utilities to scope electrical systems such as transformer sizing and switchgear layouts
• Engage with EVSE vendors, electrical contractors, and utility providers
• Review electrical design packages for code compliance and scalability
• Act as central liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners
• Identify and mitigate project risks and deliver updates to senior leadership
• Support integration of renewable energy and battery storage systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in real estate or infrastructure project management
• Strong focus on preconstruction and estimating
• Experience with EV charging technologies (Level 2 and DC fast charging)
• Experience managing electrical infrastructure projects (medium/high-voltage, switchgear, transformers)
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, and local electrical codes
• Strong understanding of permitting, entitlements, and contract negotiation
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
