About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional pre-project teams across automation, electrical, and digital scopes to meet timelines and deliverables.
- Capture customer requirements and translate them into conceptual designs, solution configurations, and A&D scopes.
- Support sales by developing and presenting automation and digital solutions during pre-project and sales phases.
- Work with technical teams to benchmark supplier quotations, validate automation architectures, and ensure technical compliance.
- Engage directly with customers to present solutions and explain automation capabilities and operational value.
- Review technical and financial proposal details and communicate clearly with sales and project stakeholders.
- Prepare technical descriptions, equipment specifications, and division of responsibility as required by contracts.
- Manage multiple pre-projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment between sales, engineering, and customer expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Automation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell, AVEVA, and Ignition platforms.
- Solid understanding of MES systems.
- Deep understanding of IT/OT technologies, including networking, connectivity, virtualization, and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to translate complex customer needs into practical automation and production solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web application development using .NET C#, HTML, Java, or Web Services.
- Knowledge of Tetra Pak PlantMaster, ISA 88, ISA 95, or Packaging Integration solutions.
- Local language skills.
