Senior Power Electronics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support business development by providing technical proposals including SLDs and GAs
• Compile product technical information packages for project engineering teams
• Co-lead review and validation of PCS-related topics during project execution
• Maintain technical documentation and as-built drawings
• Capture design improvement feedback from design, commissioning, and O&M phases
• Recommend design approaches and equipment vendors
• Participate in product design sprints and commissioning phases

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering, or similar
• 8+ years of hands-on power electronics engineering experience
• Proven system-level design experience of MW scale power electronics equipment
• Understanding of BESS systems integration
• Ability to produce and read single line and general arrangement drawings
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for FAT inspection and site commissioning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BESS or UPS/mission critical applications
• Experience with utility-scale infrastructure
