Senior Power Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and validate board power to meet the requirements of orbital deployment
• Develop and execute test plans for upcoming power designs and document procedures, plans, and specifications
• Assist in the resolution of power related issues in prototype, and manufacturing
• Collaborate with power supply vendors to develop power supplies that meet our requirements
• Perform design reviews of schematics, BOMs, layout and routing
• Extract VRM transient response models and integrates the models into end-to-end power integrity simulations

Requirements

• Proven experience in complex analog design DC-DC power conversion
• Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout and circuit simulation tools
• Hands-on experience with system level power delivery network design, analysis and validation
• Familiarity with power distribution and strategies in PCBs and systems
• Understanding of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and frequency response analyzers
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional project teams
