Senior Power BI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end BI projects from requirement gathering to dashboard delivery, including data modelling and user training
• Build dynamic, high-performance Power BI dashboards using advanced DAX, Power Query (M), RLS, and custom visuals
• Write efficient SQL for data extraction and transformation across platforms like Azure SQL, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business needs into actionable insights
• Integrate Power BI with tools such as Excel, Power Automate, and SharePoint
• Partner with Data Engineers to align with data pipelines and ensure data accuracy

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on BI experience with a focus on Power BI, SQL, and DAX
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and BI architecture
• Experience implementing BI solutions for complex business scenarios
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PySpark
• Knowledge of Gen AI innovations and automations using Python
• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik Sense
