Senior Power BI Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, ensuring high-quality data visualization and user experience
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Collaborate with finance, marketing, and customer analytics teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
• Perform deep-dive analyses to derive actionable insights and storytelling through dashboards
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and consistency across systems
• Maintain and enhance data models for better performance and scalability
• Create best practices documentation and train end-users in dashboard usage

Requirements

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in data analytics
• Proficiency in advanced SQL skills including complex joins, CTEs, and stored procedures
• Expertise in designing dynamic, interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI
• Strong experience in Finance, Customer Analytics, or Marketing Analytics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in DAX queries and creating calculated columns/measures in Power BI
• Familiarity with tools like Python or R for advanced analytics
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience in predictive analytics and statistical modeling
