Senior Power BI Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions
• Build visually compelling, scalable, and performance-optimized Power BI reports
• Develop and maintain SSRS reports to support business reporting requirements
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance
• Perform data analysis and validate data quality to ensure reporting accuracy
• Develop and support ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, and Business teams to deliver high-quality reporting solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stand-ups

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards
• Expertise in Power BI data modelling, DAX, and Power Query (M Language)
• Strong experience developing enterprise SSRS reports, including parameterized reports
• Excellent SQL programming skills including stored procedures, views, and performance tuning
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Banking or Financial Services
• ETL development experience
• Hands-on experience with PySpark
• Exposure to Data Engineering concepts
• Experience working with large enterprise datasets
