Senior Portfolio Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting responsibilities and work with Operations and Offshore teams to reconcile investing and cash activities
• Review investment documents and monitor new investment setup in the accounting platform
• Liaison with investment professionals on structuring, cash movements, and investment performance
• Assist with complex waterfall and management fee calculations per Investment Management Agreements (IMAs)
• Assist with expense reporting, analysis, and the quarterly valuation process
• Produce daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting for Investors and Management
• Support the fundraising team with marketing documents and special financial projects

Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting rules and industry practices
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem solving
• Ability to meet time-sensitive regulatory and contractual deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting experience in public accounting, alternative assets, investment management, or fund administration
• Experience with alternative investments, credit, structured products, and partnership accounting
• Proficiency with Advent Geneva
• Experience with investment performance reporting and analytics
• Strong Excel skills and professional certification (CPA or equivalent)
