Senior Platforms Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive the transformation of infrastructure automation initiatives, including CI/CD, SRE, and DevSecOps processes.
• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to optimize system performance and resource utilization.
• Provide technical leadership in Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network as Code, and Zero Trust Network Architecture.
• Manage platform and system technical support activities, handling escalated and complex troubleshooting efforts.
• Design and lead disaster recovery and system testing procedures to minimize downtime.
• Foster a knowledge-sharing culture by mentoring junior engineers and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant platforms engineering experience.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong knowledge of Networking, Compute, and Storage technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Networking, Compute, Storage, IaC, Configuration Management, or Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Experience in Operational Technology (OT) and understanding of the PERA model.
• Proficiency with tools such as Netbrain, Netbox, or Itential.
