Senior Platform Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and create embedded software for scalable robotic operations
• Integrate hardware components including sensors, actuators, and computing platforms
• Lead cross-functional projects involving robotic perception and computing subsystems
• Test and validate systems to ensure safety and reliability in real-world conditions
• Build infrastructure and tools for an agile R&D environment
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, control experts, and AI developers

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems running Linux
• Proficiency in C++, C, Rust, Python, or Go
• Experience with time-sensitive, performance-critical applications
• Understanding of Ethernet, IP networking, HTTP, and gRPC
• Experience with Linux build environments like Yocto or Buildroot
• Experience building Linux kernels and writing device drivers
• Proven history of leading cross-functional technical projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson platform
• Experience working with sensor data (cameras, lidars, radars, IMUs)
