Senior Platform Engineer

About the Company

We believe stablecoins are better money and will be the backbone of better payments. We're a small, scrappy team of ~10 people based in NYC, backed by $10M from a16z crypto and other excellent partners, building a stablecoin clearinghouse to make stablecoins move like money.

Responsibilities

• Shape how AI-assisted development is brought into core financial infrastructure
• Own the test harness for core systems, including integration tests, formal verification, and chaos testing
• Build correctness guarantees for the ledger, netting algorithm, and money movement
• Design and build internal tools to amplify team productivity
• Own CI/CD pipelines, dev environments, and deployment infrastructure
• Instrument systems with observability tools like logging, tracing, and alerting

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, developer tooling, infrastructure, or reliability engineering
• Expertise in GCP or AWS
• Proficiency with TypeScript and/or Python
• Experience with NodeJS or similar runtime environments
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS
• Proven track record building infrastructure for high-correctness systems like payments, trading, or ledgers
• Deep understanding of state, ordering, idempotency, failure modes, and consistency in distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with formal verification or property-based testing
• Experience with chaos engineering
• Familiarity with tools like Temporal or TigerBeetle
