Senior Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for Azure and Databricks, including networking, security architecture, and platform governance.
• Design and develop reusable Terraform modules to enable scalable and automated deployments via CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage platform site reliability (SRE) by implementing observability, monitoring, and proactive alerting using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Lead incident management and root-cause analysis to ensure platform stability and adherence to SLAs/SLOs.
• Implement secure credential management using Azure Key Vault and HashiCorp Vault.
• Mentor junior engineers in best practices for automation, testing, and cloud service support.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Security, Cloud Ops, and Networking to drive platform enhancements.

Requirements

• 15+ years of IT experience in large-scale organizations.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (networking, security, identity, and compute).
• 5+ years of experience with Databricks on Azure (workspaces, workflows, and Unity Catalog).
• 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• 5+ years of experience with development or scripting languages (Python or Go).
• 5+ years of experience with container technologies like Docker.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
