Senior Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain mission-critical cloud infrastructure for managing high-stakes R&D programs
• Build systems to handle sensitive scientific data, complex financial modeling, and AI workloads
• Create platform infrastructure to power AI-driven signals extraction from unstructured data
• Develop tooling and infrastructure to improve developer experience, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
• Implement security and compliance measures to meet stringent biotech and pharmaceutical requirements, including SOC 2

Requirements

• 5+ years of platform/infrastructure engineering or SRE experience
• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, alerting systems, and incident response
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and maintenance
• Proven track record of working effectively in small, fast-moving engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing SOC 2 compliance, security controls, and audit preparation
• Experience with performance optimization for data-intensive applications
• Proficiency in AI-assisted development to accelerate infrastructure work
