Senior Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provision, deploy, and maintain infrastructure to support simulation workflows, including high-performance computing (HPC), software-in-the-loop (SIL), and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
• Leverage IaaS, automation, and IaC to manage infrastructure efficiently
• Use containerization and orchestration to enable scalable and resilient application deployments
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to improve iteration speed and flight system reliability
• Configure network hardware, manage cloud resources, and ensure network security and performance
• Contribute to the design of a simulation system capable of automatically provisioning resources

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in platform, DevOps, infrastructure, or software engineering
• Expertise in DevOps best practices
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Lua, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with Linux-based systems
• Experience with CI/CD platforms like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in IaaS (AWS and GCP) and IaC (Terraform)
• Expertise in database and network administration
• Familiarity with system observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with embedded systems, SIL, HIL, or robotics testbeds
• Familiarity with Linux-based real-time systems and cloud-based/distributed HPC
