Senior Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain internal platforms enabling self-service deployment and management of applications
• Develop standardized tools, frameworks, and libraries to streamline workflows across teams
• Guide adoption of AI technologies on the platform (GenAI, AI agents, AIOps) to improve developer productivity
• Integrate various development tools and services within the platform ecosystem
• Enhance developer experience through documentation, training, and platform support
• Implement strategies to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of platforms
• Utilize DORA metrics to assess and improve software delivery and operational processes
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams for seamless application support

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in platform engineering or related roles
• Strong understanding of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep) and GitOps (Flux or ArgoCD)
• Experience with internal developer platforms such as Backstage, Humanitec, or OpsLevel
• Scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python
• Proficient English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with native AI cloud services like AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or Azure AI
• Experience designing, building, and operating AI agents and agentic frameworks
• Familiarity with coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Trae
