Senior Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain platform infrastructure using declarative IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi
• Act as first-line responder for critical system incidents and lead blameless post-mortems
• Implement and evolve fully automated CI/CD pipelines for fast and secure deployments
• Manage observability systems including metrics, centralized logging, and distributed tracing
• Proactively manage infrastructure capacity to meet Service Level Objectives (SLOs)

Requirements

• Hands-on experience applying DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
• Deep understanding of SLO/SLA creation, error budget management, and toil reduction
• Expertise in major public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• In-depth knowledge of Docker and extensive experience orchestrating at scale with Kubernetes
• Proficiency in modern software languages such as TypeScript, Go, Python, or Rust
• Proven experience developing robust automation scripts, services, and pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive cultural and process change between development and operations
• Experience managing centralized logging solutions like Splunk or Datadog
• Familiarity with distributed tracing tools like Jaeger or Zipkin and APM solutions
