About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage all planning, scheduling, and time-related risk activities for the Tunnel System Integration package within the Diriyah Infrastructure Program.
- Oversee the development and control of integrated schedules covering civil works, MEP, tunnel systems, fit-out, testing & commissioning, interfaces, and handover.
- Ensure full alignment and integration with the overall program master schedule and related infrastructure packages.
- Implement robust progress measurement systems, including earned value metrics, S-curves, and key performance indicators.
- Lead time-related coordination for all interfaces, including utilities, trackworks, MEP systems, and life safety controls.
- Assess schedule impacts of variations and design changes, providing quantified time-impact analyses to support commercial positions.
- Maintain schedule risk registers and perform risk analysis using tools such as Monte Carlo simulations.
- Mentor and develop planning team members, driving continuous improvement in planning methodologies and digital tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 10+ years of planning and scheduling experience in major infrastructure or transportation projects.
- 5+ years in senior planning roles managing large, complex, multi-disciplinary programs.
- Demonstrable experience in tunnel projects or system integration packages (e.g., road/rail tunnels, utility tunnels, or complex MEP/SCADA integration).
- High level of proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Advanced MS Excel and Power BI skills for data analytics and dashboard reporting.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies for tunnels and life safety systems.
- Familiarity with international forms of contract, such as FIDIC.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in Project Management or an equivalent discipline.
- Experience with planning interfaces to BIM/4D tools and common data environments.
- Professional planning certifications.
