Senior Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, communicating effectively with both technical and management-level personnel
• Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), CPM baseline schedules, and integrated master schedules (IMS) in collaboration with clients and contractors
• Load schedules with resource and cost information and perform resource analyses to identify potential bottlenecks
• Update, maintain, and revise monthly and weekly schedules and reports
• Coordinate and conduct reviews of consultant, contractor, and vendor schedules to ensure compliance with client standards
• Implement earned value management (EVM) systems to accurately measure project progress and performance
• Identify program and project risks and provide mitigation recommendations
• Perform what-if and delay analyses as required
• Act as the primary communication link between the company and clients regarding contracts and project progress

Requirements

• 10+ years of construction planning and scheduling experience
• Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, engineering, project management, or a related technical field
• Proven experience in vertical construction or mission-critical environments (e.g., Data Centers, Hospitals, Hotels)
• High proficiency in Primavera P6, including resource and cost loading, tracking, and leveling
• High proficiency in Microsoft Project
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Experience in client-facing roles with the ability to present findings to management

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in construction management
• Direct experience in data center construction
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• PSP or PMI-SP certification
• Active membership in PMI, AACEi, or similar professional associations
