Senior Planning Associate

Responsibilities

• Oversee forecasting, planning, and master scheduling for the Phoenix, Arizona fulfillment department
• Generate weekly and monthly production and capacity plans to support organizational goals
• Maintain data integrity within systems to facilitate efficient inventory and capacity management
• Utilize systems to proactively identify and communicate key drivers and solutions for service and inventory issues
• Track and reconcile weekly/monthly metrics against established targets
• Review production performance and update planning rates to reflect plant capabilities
• Lead or participate in special projects as required with an inventory control and waste avoidance mindset

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field (or Associate's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience)
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in production planning, detailed scheduling, replenishment, or demand planning
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including building models, tools, and macros
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to solve operational problems
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, specifically Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Food and Beverage manufacturing industry
• Retail management experience
• APICS or CPIM certification
