Senior Planner Specialist

Responsibilities

• Run the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process in Oracle to optimize planned orders for raw materials and packaging.
• Manage inventory levels against safety stock targets and reorder points, flagging shortages or excess stock.
• Determine and dispatch replenishment quantities to the Sourcing team via Oracle with accurate lead time parameters.
• Support the S&OP process by providing material availability data and supply risk recommendations.
• Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) in Oracle, ensuring accuracy and completeness in coordination with MDM.
• Maintain planning parameters in Oracle, including safety stock levels, lot sizes, and reorder points.
• Track and reconcile material consumption against production outputs to investigate variances.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and optimize stock levels.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in material planning, production planning, or inventory management.
• Hands-on experience running MRP in Oracle or an equivalent ERP system.
• Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals: safety stock, reorder points, lead times, and lot sizing.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS CPIM certification or equivalent.
• Experience within the FMCG, consumer goods, or consumer health industries.
